2010 - Upper King St. Fresh Farmers’ Market

Alexandria’s only weekday farmers’ market!

The Upper King Street Neighborhood Association together with the City of Alexandria proudly announce the 2010 Upper King Street Fresh Farmers' Market.

The market will be held, rain or shine, each Wednesday from 3-7 pm, May 5 through October 27, 2010.

The location is 1806 King Street at the King Street Gardens Park (a short walk east of the King St. Metro station.)

As we enter our third year, we would like to thank all the people who have come out in support for the market. It has been a very rewarding neighborhood project.

Each year we select 10-12 vendors for this market. Our focus is on local producer/growers who sell their own products – so you can meet the farmer, the baker, or the producer. As a small market (it’s a very small park) we emphasize quality and diversity.
